The Elizabeth J. Franklin Associates Society
The Elizabeth J. Franklin Associates Society, which includes all donors to Bennington College who give $1,000 or more per year, for any purpose, was conceived to offer supporters of the College the opportunity to have a substantial effect on—and to more directly share in—the life of the College. Gifts at this leadership level help to provide the College with the resources necessary to enhance every aspect of campus life. In return, these donors are offered an inside perspective of Bennington College through a variety of communications and special events made available only to the College’s leading supporters. As with all educational institutions, Bennington depends on annual support to offset its operating expenses and bolster its programming. Simply stated, private support reduces the deficit between tuition and operating expenses and allows the College to remain at the forefront of progressive education. Last year alone, Associate gifts provided 79 percent of all dollars raised. Your leadership donations, in particular, provide Bennington with the necessary funding to attract and retain superior faculty, to offer outstanding and deserving students financial aid, to introduce innovative educational programming, and to continue campus renewal efforts. Please continue this tradition by joining one of the important giving levels; click here to see the levels and the benefits of each. Associate-level giving can be easily divided into compound payments. If you would like to join this group of principal donors, but cannot make an outright gift at that level, consider pledging a lesser amount per month throughout our fiscal year.
